Pickett 550-T - WAKCO Weight Rule No 1373-ET - Notes

- The front of this rule has a regular set of scales.
- The reverse features a set of scales which appears to allow the user to calculate the weight of variously sized
and shaped pieces of different types of metal, including, Lead, Copper, Brass, Steel, Cast Iron, Aluminium and
Magnesium.
- Unusually for a Pickett rule the Model number is not where it normally is at the left end of the slide on the same side
as the Pickett logo. On this rule the model number is in the normal position but on the rear.
- Copyright on the rule is attributed to Warren-Knight Co. Philadelphia. There is still a company of a similar name
in Philadelphia making and supplying instruments. Unfortunately there is no reference to slide rules at all on their web site.
